Johnson City Area United Way, Inc. |
The Johnson City Area United Way has been in existence since 1930. It started as the Johnson City Community Chest, began using the name United Way in 1972, and officially adopted the current name in 1974.
The Johnson City Area United Way is not only responsible for fund raising and the distribution of those funds to our member agencies; we also administer the Heisse Johnson Keeping Warm Fund and the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program of FEMA.
Our Board of Directors is proud of the services our partner agencies provide to those in need in our community and are excited about the potential growth of those services and agencies.
